Where is the don't give a rat's ring option????

Golf is a bad way to ruin a good walk and fishing is like watching paint dry....

Wonder what the results would be if the poll was in a golf forum.

well, last thursday i participated in my first game of golf and thoroughly enjoyed it.

listening to metallica while hitting the crap out of a ball, a good afternoon was spent. and i only lost like 5 balls ( and found 3 ). its actually harder than i thought it would be, for example:
par 5, a hill in the middle of the fairway(???) and i drive the ball really well ( best hit of the day by me ) and i cant find it cos the hill made me loose sight of it when it bounced. and putting, thats hard. its easier to get down on ya gut and use the golf stick like a pool stick

anyway, fishings boring but hopefully that will change cos dad just bought a polycraft our old 16 foot 1/2 cabin was great cept the electrics where gone.

    cheers

NC a garbage bin to put the golf rubbish in . Or maybe a turned wooden bat to beat up the golf ball .

You wouldn't be saying that seeing a trout rise and being able to quickly cast and land a fly on that exact spot isn't skillful?
Ot to cast a lure at the base of a tree near the bank 30 metres away and try an attract that 6lb mangrove jack out to bite, then, if that's not enough, try to get the bloody thing back to the boat when your fishing with 8lb nylon?

Mick When I was in the UK We spent a couple of weeks on a barge and I saw how pitterfull fishermen could become, they were catching and recording the weight of bait and calling them fish
A stick of gelly or a spear gun beats the hell out of all that ?????, now golf on the other hand needs skill concentration and lots of balls

Each to their own. I used to shoot carp in the billabongs up in Wangarratta when i had a place there. Caught a few cod occasionaly and some fresh water crays. used the golf club on the carp as well. It was 7 iron for those that want to know.
