Squid jigs
Hi Can anyone out there tell me if the oval plastic squid jigs are still available and if so where ? Cant seem to find them on the weastern side of the big smoke. Not a major problem as we could use the plastic pen blanks to turn them up but I would rather be turning wood .
thanks for any comms on same regards Wally

I've been for a look on Ebay, and it seems you're right, they are not to be found. They have been around for about fifty years I reckon, and they were used on the giant Japanese long lines by the Japanese fishing fleets. They were used by hanging them one below the other at one metre distances, and then jigged up and down if one used them by hand, but on the long lines, they are left floating below bouys.
I must see if I still have one or two, they will be collectable.Buzza.
