Default 84 year old saw miller

For those who missed it on Landline today there was a great story about an 84yo saw miller who built his own saw mill from scratch at the age of 60 and still uses it 3 days per week.

I have already emailed the link to BobL to give him an insight into what his future holds.

    Link to IVIEW is http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/landline/NC1432Q038S00
    Story is about 31:20
    Cheers
    Larry

Thanks Larry I have already circulated this to all my cronies including a couple of tractor afficianados.

No I do not expect to be milling when I'm 84 - I already have access to more wood than I know what to do with.

I saw the ad for it last week on Landline and looked forward to it. What a mill, and I liked the reference to Mad Max's Grand Father

Absolutely brilliant . If he quite he would probably die from boredom. Reminds me of an much older Weisyboy .

    Thumbs up

A remarkable fellow indeed!! How fortunate to have such an understanding wife!!!

I was watching some of the footage where his hans were VERY close to the spinning blade. Made my spine shiver.
