Slabbed a couple of small Silky Oak logs on the Woodman yesterday.
The Sap wood was riddled with termites which dulled the blade so it looks like I'll be on the sharpener next week.
Sorry I only took picks of the slabs from the smallest log.

This morning I was back on the big mill.
The request was to flattop some twisted bigger logs (of limited value) for use in play ground settings
This one had a seriously spiralled trunk so was not going to be any good for timber but still good enough for playground use.
Was almost cutting on the height limit for this mill - I think I had <100 mm left of height to ply with..
The mill has a 915mm wide throat, so no trouble there, but the blade cannot go any higher than ~750mm above the bed.
To go any higher I'll be getting out the chainsaw mill.
Still cutting moderately straight
