    Default Bandsaw Camphor slabs

Cut up a nice camphor butt this morning. 2.2m long and 1.4m wide. Heaps of great slabs, colour and figure. Best of all No Nails, wire or spikes.

    Thumbs up

    Extra noice old son!!!

Where did the log come from? I ask this because it seems that camphor from the north coast rivers has better colour than elsewhere.

Stunning stuff, and a really big chunk too! Drooling on the keyboard isn't going to help any......what will these slabs you cut get used for?

The log came from the Bellinger valley. Most of the older logs seem to have good colour in that area. The slabs will be used for furniture and craft items.

    cheers
