New Bar Carry Box
Carting around big bars is a pain. Working with TeeJay he had a box to carry/protect his made out of plywood with the shape routered out of one side. My two blades are heavy enough without a lot of plywood, so I went for a simple tassy oak frame made from 25x12mm covered with 3 ply and foam on the inside.
I scored some cheap 6mm foam, like the stuff you slide on at water parks so I wouldn't have any problems with the fuel/oil, thus 2 layers in each side. The top layer on one side was then cut way to suit the shape of the bars. It wasn't till after I had glued in the foam I noticed I had put the big bar on the wrong side (ie on top as you carry the box), but the bars seam to stay in place Ok. I've just got the auxillary oiler bolt sitting at one end at them moment, I might make a small slot for them in the foam.
Of course, blue to match the colour scheme of the mill
