I decided to drop another tree that died awhile ago. This time a blackwood About 7-800 at the base and 450-500 at the head which is about 8m. as with the stringy in my other post.......any advice on what to get out of it would be appreciated.

So I washed the roots out to see what's there. No real surprises there. Bog standard really. Now what I need is an extension for the mill to take out full length boards I wonder if I've got enough stuff floating around to make something?

Good to see you are still keeping busy . Wrong time of year to be milling this stuff up, it loves to crack, so better mill it up quick and get it under cover some where.

I'll leave it to the experts to advise cutting strategies
