    Default Bragging rights!

I was in at a CS store today picking up my new 42" CSM bar and was clearly impressing everyone in the store with my purchase as everyones eyes were on me. This sort of thing hasn't really happened to me before so I felt somewhat conspicuous and although I tried to hide behind the colourful chain lube stand a very large ethnic fella came up and wanted to know "what sort of a tree are you gonna cut with that"? He then proceeded to tell me he only had a 36" and in not so specific words how he felt entirely inadequate after seeing the 42"! Anyway I then had to explain to him what a CSM was and of course 2 other fellas happened to listen in and in 30 seconds I had 3 guys all giving their two peneth worth. Two of them gave me their cards and said if the came across a big tree the would give me a call. I said I could not promise anything but they thought I was kidding because anyone with a bar that big had to be a serious dude. Next time I'm getting something like that sent out to work by courier - hang on the secretary is then gonna ask the hard questions.

It's not the length of your bar, Bob, it's what you do with it that counts

Now c'mon Cliff, whilst I might be prone to exaggeration over the size of a fish, a man never lies about the length of his bar

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

My target logs are in the 20 - 30" diameter range but having a longer bar enable one to cope with flared bases, branches and interesting crotches etc.

Nope, this is definitely for slabbing out bush or at BILs workplace.
