What sort of timber are you looking to get sawn and what volume and what sizes are you chasing do you want it graded and stamped ???

I'll saw almost anywhere from SA to QLD if there is enough logs to do a week or more's work and have done it for years Mate thats about 1 to 2 semi loads of logs roughly it all depends on what the target size is ??? if I am sawing Decking ,Framing or Beams if i have a tailer out and a loader supplied and my rate for that would be $110 per hour and travel fee of about $500 and you are looking down the barrel of $5500 + inc gst for a rough figure and that would get you about 12.5 to 25 m3 sawn and I would need to be emailed pics of the logs before i would commit to taking on a job that far away home though too Mate

If you average everything out it nuts out to between $220 and $440 m3 sawn roughly there is alot of variables in this game the more info we have to work with the better Mate .

Probably way too late, but I know of two guys with mills and one and half (it's currently broken) with portable mills in the area.

Can chase them up if anyone needs further details
