The story to this Camphor Laural tree.

I was on my home about 3 years ago and noticed the Ferny Grove wood shed redevelopment site. I saw this 30 ton excavator ”destructor osaurus” ripping into this tree and a chipper near by turning other fallen tress into mulch. I stopped and asked the site foreman if I could buy the tree. Any way it cost me 10 cartons and they delivered it to my place on a low loader and stood it up as you can see in the picture.
I put a tarp over it and the weather has taken its toll on the tarp. So now it is time to start cutting it. I put the trestles and planks up and trimmed off the top daggy bits. I turned one bit and it has some fiddle back in it. Looking at the trunk this tree has a lot of fiddle back in it but I have no idea of how to get the best out of this once beautiful tree and it would be a shame to stuff it up.
It measures 3.4 metres around the girth half way up and 4 metres high. I am prepared to pay for the correct advice on how to go about cutting it and getting the best out of this tree.
If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated I don’t want to slab it I would like to make nice vases and other nice wood turned pieces.

Cheers Gaetano
