    Does it eventually start.?

How about going through your start up sequence?
i.e. from cold how many cranks before it "pops" with the choke on?
At that point do you leave the choke on or off?

One thing I would do is clean the carby.

Chainsaw won't start did a leak test looks like fuel is leaking into crankcase. Looks like a carby rebuild
