Default Cutting plantation timbers and its value?

Hi all ive been contacted by a guy with a large plantation of Yellow stringy bark, River red gum, Sugar gum and Sydney rose gum. Weve negotiated milling costs but he needs a bit of an idea on the values of each timber and best products to put each species into. Having only dealt with WA natives a few ideas from the forumites would be great

How big are they? how old are they? How straight are they? these are probably the most important questions!

redgum under 300 years old is shyte, sugar gum is not much better regardless of age and stringy is useless under 600 mm diameter. (Or so I am led to believe!)
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.

Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.

Value tends to be very subjective, depends on the market the timber is going for... if all cut for sleepers then value is around $700 per sawn cube, if all going for feedstock then around $850, structural $1300+ special orders large section beams posts name your price...
