    Default One of those days...

I don't wanna go into what happened before being able to make sawdust (doesn't making sawdust seem to make crud fade away?) but just wanna show some pics.

    From this...

    to this...

    and this...

into this in 12 minutes, that's me cutting and tailing the timber and waste...

Geese I love cutting 4x3's especially with my Lucas

Yeah I know, "I love my Lucas, blah, blah, blah" but making some sawdust really made me happy by the end of the day.
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
    Allan.

You may be knackered after a big day on the mill, but don't you go home feeling pretty good with yourself?

i love teh smell of sawdust in teh morning. altow more often than not its nearly afternoon before anyhting gets cut.

but aint it grand to see the sawdust fly and turn a crappy loocing log into some beautiful timber.

    Nice pics Sidgi!

My half day at the yard.
Ran around all morning like a blue arsed fly doing chores and stuff and didn't get to the milling yard until after 1 o'clock.
    • Cut 4 short slabs with the 880,
    • Started to restacked two logs that had been slabbed but not properly stickered
    • Loader ran out of diesel - had to carry fuel to it and prime it to get it started
    • Mashed on one my fingers during the restack
    • Painted the ends of some small lemon scented gums
    • Time to go home

Didn't do much but I'm knackered - Must be outta practice.
    Sorry - no pics.
