You need to be a but more specific. There are 800 and something species of Eucalyptus and many are very different from each other. Can you list the species you have available. Also Eucalyptus grown outside Australia can develop a lot of twists which means when they dry they unravel like a coiled spring. Whatever the case, you won't regret buying a mill.

Guy welcome to the forum!
As for Euc's a lot of us have cut heaps of them, so stick around and ask as many questions as you like, but be warned some of us like to talk more than others - like Carl he talks the ear off donkeys, oh and Bob he's always writing novels. But I might as well tell you, the worst one here is this fella called Allan, he just goes on and on about Lucas mills, practically never shuts up about 'em. I think he's been driving his Lucas through Eucs for around 5 years.
For my money you need a Lucas, if it's slabs your after even better, the Lucas dedicated slabber is cheaper than a swing blade. I think it's just under $10,000 to cut almost 2m wide, is that wide enough for your Eucs?
'Allan'I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
Allan.

Not this time
Watch out for these "Lucas Mill" guys Guy. It's a new religion, every morning they get up and bow down before their pride and joy. When they are not milling they lovingly lavishing maintenance and mods on it and post endless messages about how much they love it on the forum. Now us Alaskan dudes never do that
Also you will need a sense of humor - Aussie humour - don't worry - you will sink or swim here.
Cheers
