    Default The Firewood tree

I can't remember what type of tree it is, but I planted it for firewood because it coppiced and split really well.
It is an Eastern Australian species and is rot resistant.
Because it splits so well, I am thinking of having a go at splitting some of these larger logs. I'd like planks but quarter rounds would fit the bandsaw.

Any tips on splitting? I've got lots of wedges.

It is Eucaluptus muelleriana, yellow stringy bark.
