Geese, I've been away for a little while sorting some stuff out - just read all of this from the begining... I reckon the tree came down well and a milling job was done.. personally I don't give a hoot about the rest of it...!

My current favorite phrase - "ease up turbo!"
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

I have been away too and just caught up on it all. Why is it that whenever that someone posts something about falling trees the microscope has to come out Well done Carl, job done and home safe, end of story. If any of you want to argue about something today its my birthday and not yours, so retort to that one and get back to being constructive lovers of timber

When I was a sapling (I still do it and I am old and seasoned) I was brought up this way: When I “hurt” someone or said something that people were offended by I was to apoligise, whether what I did or said was true, or even if they misunderstood what I said – I was to apoligise.
This was how people were to get on with each other because we all had our struggles and battles (storms, wind, drought, road cuttings) we all have our different “walks” (soil type, polluted air, borers).
As an adult I became a Christian and am still very serious about my Faith. It saddens me to see little to no remorse or contrition in the interaction between people in society (our Forest) and so little repentance or responsibility in people for how they affect others detrimentally.
Being quick to apoligise can save a bus-load (several cubic meters) of tension, stress and hurt.
Whether right or wrong it would be great to see in our Forest more people thinking of others rather than “being right” or “what did I say that was so wrong?” and instead of “What about me – it isn’t fair! …. I want my share” hear the words “I’m sorry”, “I didn’t mean to hurt you”, “How can I help”.

Let’s discuss this wonderful stuff called trees, wood, timber and what we do with it. For pities sake can we all show some maturity and concession to everyone?
