It is easy milling WC,sharp chain will slice it like cheese..these were heads off very old, large paddock grown trees, way too precious to be heaped and burnt, and you can see why ...lovely stuff..MM

what type of saw and bar length would you suggest for some one who wants to start out soon in csm? i have made up most of a jig like the Alaskan sawmill so i just need to put the rest of it together. i am thinking of maby getting some c-channel to use as the adjustable slides for different bar lengths as i only have box tube with some holes drilled in it.
    Cheers WC

Have you invested in a Die Injector attachment for the chain saw?

    Sensational colour!

FRG seems to be prone to borers or summink hungry. I've haven't seen a great deal first hand, but it always seems to have "feature pockets" in it.

Generally the Butts mill quite clean, the heads however do get a little 'rustic' at times.Great colour though,as you mentioned FF...as for my Die Injector attachment, well, that's my secret ...MM

Why do you keep doing this? I can't take too much more....... if you keep this up, I'll just have to stop coming to the milling forum, it's just not good for my sanity.

P.S. It really looks like good gear. Keep it coming.

God MM, those are fantastic. Shame we can't bung them on a truck and send them down.

    Such magnificence.
