This gumtree worth milling?
G'day Folks,
A single gum tree (not sure what type) on the folks property died recently, and has to come down. (See attached). I'd estimate the main trunk section to be about 800mm in diameter)
What say you, milling forum experts, is this one worth paying someone to come in and mill, or is it a firewood job?
The property is located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, if it makes a difference.
Cheers, Dean

Firewood IMHO will most likely have a bit of tension in it due to the lean

Might be useful to a wood turner depending on the timber type.
Will be a nightmare to get down.

Looks long dead with heaps of cracks and bugs well and truely into it already, so firewood for me. Bit hard to get the timber back to Perth anyway
