    Default loading video

    This is probably not the right place for this....but ....it will be once I am able to do it
    Took a vid on the camera of me milling a raintree fork I have been working on these last few weeks, I tried to load it but maybe it was too big If I need to make it smaller, How do I do that, Can I make it smaller or not.....and heaps of questions like that....Just need some direction

    You will need some software to resize/compress it. Usually there are some "save as option" that include "Save for web" or "save for email" that automatically make it smaller.

    Once you get it small enough you can post it as a file
    OR
    Put it on youtube and place the link back here to teh forums.

    What is the current size of the file now Peter?

    The other option is to email it to me and I can upload it directly to the server and then give you a link for it.

    Ahhit's too big then, so I'll have to compress it or zipp it or something

    You will have to chop it up first. You need a video editing program that will chop it into 1 minute segments. Most people won't watch a milling video clip for longer that anyway.

    Other alternative is to burn it to disc and post it to me.

    Then I can edit it and then upload, send me a PM if you want to do this

    Thanks DJ and Bob,
    I can set the camera on compact, I took a couple clips of the bandsaw today so I'll see how big they r and see if I can load them, if that goes allright I'll prolly just do another CS milling one,see what happens
    The clip was only minute something long
