Don't blame the foresters. Who holds the Tree Farm Licence in your Timber Supply Area? What's the Annual Allowable Cut?
In a saturated market, you can't give it away. Fortunately, we have uses for the 18,000,000ha of standing dead pine
from the Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic. Without some really clever commoodity research,
that wood is not worth the chainsaw gas to cut it down, let alone move it.
Anyway, really good looking logs. No log home builders or would that just be termite food?

Bushfire food = yes it is. The recent Little Bobtail fire was no more than 25,000 km^2.
I can imagine the log homes that you could build with those log loads.
