looking for someone to re-mill some bridge timber in Melbourne
Hi all
got a project going on where im looking at milling some ironbark bridge timbers, metal detected so its safe
the timbers are 250x220 and im looking at getting them ripped into 3 boards 250 wide.
probably going to be 2-3 beams that need cutting, between 3-4m each
I can travel anywhere to drop off,
Im NOT looking to get this done for nothing, im happy to pay whatever its worth
Let me know if anyone can give me a chop out Daniel

I don't mind cutting stuff like this, I let the customer know it's a case of paying for any foreign material damage, so not really that bad a job. and it's good at times to do these kind of jobs - challenges the mind in different ways
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

I can do it with a chainsaw mill if you want, I am in Warragul and it would be a weekend job. pm me if you are interested. you would be losing about 8mm per cut, my rates would be fairly cheap.
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.
Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.

Pretty sure that Daniel is no longer needing this done now as he has found some other timber that will do the job
Cheers
