    Default I love trees!

    So.... would any one bother milling this.

    Their some trees that we secretly wish would. Don't be too quick to judge you know it's true.
    Oh yeah, it's a 100+year old oak planted by my great uncle.

    Dribble..Drool what a ripper photo of some family heritage..what's the life expectancy of this species?My understanding is that they are long lived , can be severely pruned and coppice easily..it would produce some stunning timber i would think...MM

    Average life of 200 years . And I'm with you dribble dribble drool.

    Wow what a beaut . You didn't show me that one when I was there. If they live for ~200 years, start writing instructions for your great grandkids now, including not stacking slabs on termite prone areas

    I'm off to the Valley of the Giants in WA tomorrow, no doubt I am going to do some drooling there
