Lucas mill air filter
Hi all,
Need to replace the light foam cover on the air filter on the motor. Also need to do the one on the dedicated slabber as a mouse got up into there and decided to have a munch! Has anyone had any success with making their own up from foam and glueing it up themselves? Have tried my normal filter mob and they are having dramas getting the right one...

it shouldn't be too hard, just get the right glue and the foam can be cut with an electric knife.even though it's hard to get perfect,i don't think it would matter in this instance.my problem is the pre-filter stretches which is fixed with a bit of led wire

Absofrickenlutely!!! Only place I get anything from except spark plugs and oil filter, even then I'm thinking of dealing with Lucas after a few local issues with idiot mower shops trying to tell me my engine has a different part than what I'm replacing!!!! Nothing like the service from Lucas.... Go on just ask me

Yes yes I know. I left myself wide open there for a bollocking. lol I know they sell spares as I have had great service from them before but was't sure if they did engine parts and spares or only their own Lucas parts.
Allan I'd be surprised if they charge you for any spares with the amount of good things you say about them If this is not the case maybe you should lean on em a bit.

The prefilters are not as easy to come by here in the states. I ended up buying a few of them on ebay for less than they would have cost new.
