    Default Lucas, slabber in WA

Looking for a guy with a Lucas slabbing mill in WA to help out with a large project. I have the logging rights to a new mine site clearance here in Busselton. Its about 3 years work for me but with my woodmizer Ill only be cutting sawn timber. With the larger logs I would like to get them slabbed. The species available will be jarrah, sheoak, WA black butt and top quality paddock marri. Anyone interested in striking a deal, throw me a line. Cheers, Nev

Nifty, welcome, welcome, welcome, others seem to have got to it before me, but I was going to send you in the direction of Mike (Burnsy) he seems a well mannered fellow, even listened to me talk for way more than most folkes do
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

Idont really know just yet what sort of quantity I would likr to get slabbed just yet, but I have already milledaround 200 marri logs off the site and the quality is extremely good. So I see it as a waste to process the larger logs into boards or flooring blanks and it would be nice to have a more diverse stock of timber. When the time comes I guess Iwill be prepared to talk timber, cash or both, it just depends on who is interested at the time. I could send them off to a big bandsaw bt I would rather have it done on site. Too many sharks inthe fish tank at times

    Hey Nifty,
I don't have any milling gear but I'm prepared to come and do some physical labouring grunt work for you in return for some timber.

    Cheers
