    Default MacCulloch Super10-10A

The next cab of the ranks is a 1970 MacCulloch Super 10-10A , this saw was extremely dirty
after squirt of degreaser from a $2 shop and a blast with the hose , at least it was clean enough to
    work on .

Air filter was really dirty and there was oil in the fuel tank!

Pulled it down and cleaned of most of the crud with an old tooth brush, removed the points filed
them back to square and then dressed them up with a diamond encrusted file plate came up sweet .

Replaced the magneto coil etc to test for spark refitted the starter and pulled it over , beauty a big
fat blue spark . Squirted a bit of mix down the manifold (carby hadn't been kitted yet ) and pulled it
over it popped and ran for a few seconds , this was just to hear it run as I hadn't heard this saw run
up until then .Found another muffler as it didn't have one on it and fitted it, refitted the magneto
cowling ,shrouds etc, at this point it starting to look like a saw and not a pile of parts . Found
another fuel hose as the one on it was split, resealed the fuel tank with loctite gasket sealant
,removed the oil tank cover and cleaned that out resealed and reassembled .
Next I pulled out the Ultra-Sonic Cleaner and cleaned the carby and reassembled I like to squirt
fuel on the new gaskets to make them a bit soft so that they seal better in the next photo you can see
the screws are loose got a bit ahead of my self there in my eagerness to take photos .

BobL is right on the money with McBob's web-site and hard to get McCulloch parts , if he doesn't have one them your next bet would be trawling e-bay for one , or there are a couple of international sellers that deal in Mac parts in the States.
