Default Anyone want to mill some timber

    Hello

I have purchased a property at Kulnura (west of Gosford) on the Central Coast of NSW.

I will be clearing some of it to build a house is about 2 or 3 months time and was wondering if anyone wnats to give there Lucas Mill or similar a work out?

There are lots of Stringy Bark, some Iron Bark and some Sydney Blue gum.

I am going to get them pushed over, I will cut the canpoys off and get the barrels stacked into a pile.

I can just keep it all to burn but would prefer to see some go to a good home including mine.

I was thinking something like one log for me and one log for you as payment?

    Thanks

Newy a little far for me to do shares on timber, but you'll find someone on here for sure.

If not give Lucas a ring they will put you onto someone local with a mill (1800 LUCAS1)

Regardless of how ya go, get a bunch of pics and chuck 'em up so we can drool
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

    MMMMMM ironbark!!!!

Actually I am surprised richie47 hasn't put his hand up for the job, that would be a good test for the woodmizer!!!!
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.

Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.
