    Yeah Mate, I find they cut much easier when green, bluegum on the other hand doesn't seem to matter.

    Milled these bits of Tallowwood (3x3) a few months ago..thought i'd put them through my new thicknesser to see how they would come up.. crikey

    I'll say crikey! Not disimilar to some of the figure you get in your namesake. Clearly going to see those as a boxmaker's pack in timber sales, although they could be very nice turning pieces by the look of the dimensions (3x3?)

    To give an idea of durability,these were lying outside in the yard,fully exposed, for about 6 months,with very little surface checking!..MM
