    Default Milling some Brush Box

    Milling a Brush Box(Lophostemon confertus) today (and tomorrow) here's some progressive pics,a small section of the butt that i trimmed(600mm long) as it was bent at about 30degrees ,that left 2.4m of straight log..this fellow is curly and has a rich colour,really pretty stuff..more pics later MM

    Ah Chris your a cunning man

    This block in particular is it still as is? Thats the bit I meant would look brilliant as a bowl.


    Now the cunning bit is using what ever the latter photos are leaning up against as background even it has amazing grain and texture what is that so white and bright.

    I could see some nice boxes made out of both together.

    The white and bright stuff is Tallowwood Ray ...and the block in the photo is destined to be a large bowl blank
