    Default Milling some Crow's Ash

    Milling some head logs of Crow's Ash,that have been sitting around for ages..seems incredibly durable stuff..will post pics again later..MM

    ..don't often see Crows Ash anymore Brett,i notice it has a very distinct smell when milling it,and very firm also..colour similar to Huon i reckon..can understand why it was popular in the past..

    Looks like some nice grained stuff too . Excellent timber for handles, very hard and durable. If it smells similar to Huon, did you have the usual problem with the fruit flys?

    My big log of the stuff is the next on my list to mill at the macadamia farm.
