If anyone would like to come and get some freebies, there are plenty of left-over chunks for turning blanks or carving blocks, give me a call on 0417 782 204. Anytime today or tomorrow morning only! Sorry pick-up offers only as my trailer is very full already.

Finally back home and unpacked . Managed to sticker-stack the slabs with the large flute pieces intended for table beams/legs on top to help weigh down. 2.2m long and up to 1.2m wide and ~50mm thick were pretty heavy going on my own

Also filled 2 of my timber trolleys with turning blanks and carving blocks.

I did keep a couple of little bowl blanks (~500 dia x 300 & 750mm dia x 250) to rough out over the weekend on SWINO's (Todd) Stubby

Lastly, on my way home I dropped off a few big blank/blocks to a few woodturners I knew. I return I scored a few logs of old Cabernet Sauvignon Vine from Clare Valley. Although old and cracked, they look perfect for casting into pepper grinder blanks, with a nice red wine like translucent resin
