Default Any mobile mill owners near Port Macquarie or Wauchope?

Hi, first time post. Ive recently bought a block of land near Port and have already got the Loggers in to clear some room for building and tracks.

They sould be finished in the next week, then the big shed can be built. The plan is to camp in he shed and build a house asap using as much of my own timber as possible.

I have found a few nice logs for my own use, which will be left near the shed site for easy access. One of the logs I found is a bloodwood that had fallen uphill and was resting a foot off the ground on some rocks for the last 20 odd years, it is over 4ft thick for nearly 18 meters!

I am very interested to talk to someone with a mobile mill to come and have a chat about what timbers they can work with and what sort of costs involved.

I have lots of timber available to anyone after some, some of the offcuts near the log dump are 3m long and over 2 feet thick with some defects like pipe or limbs. The main

timber is Blackbutt but there is plenty of white and red Mahogany, tallowood, turpentine, bloodwood, ironbark and prob more.

Please feel free to contact me.

    Thanks.

If/when you get to mill up some tallowood/turpentine, I may be interested.

My Dad used to live in Crescent Head (now in Kempsey), and I am up that way on a semi-regular basis (twice a year).
