Yes, a most interesting list but I do have another one.

There is another single blade semiautomatic mobile sawmill called Slidetec. It is made in Finland and you can look it up at their internet site at TL-Trading Oy .

This is actually a piece of equipment that I have an interest in because I need a small sawmill to saw up the first thinnings of my hoop pine plantations up to 35 years old and some rainforest trees and some hardwoods. I like it because it claims to cut hardwood as well, it can cut logs up to 30 inches in diameter and up to 37 feet long. On the video, it seems to work very well.

we have just bought an old bush mill that works like teh kara/slidetec saws. we will be seting it up semi permanently about 20 mins north of gympie. should have it all up and running in about a month.

Come to think of it, there is another one at Laimet . These types of mills seem to work best on small diameter logs. Bob
