Default nice little trailer load of logs

bit of a pickup from everton hills.

this was one of those loads that wernt quite enough for a truck and probably a little to much for my trailer.

loaded tehm up with teh winch.

hauled em home and got em all unloaded now.

all up it took bout 2.45

30 mins there, 30 mins on phone, 1 hour loading, 45 mins home.

in the end i probly coulda put another couple of logs on. but i might not have made it up my driveway. had to put her into 4wd and i recon teh gearbox was not far off coming threw the floor.

there aint nothing a deo cant do.

Carl about 20 years ago i took a load of spuds into a chip factory in Melb one day - the load was 5 tonne over weight but only 1/2 way up the sides (gates & tarps) and the bloke (new Aussie) said to me

Why you not fill er up

So i ask you the same thing - pity you didn't put a proper load on considering you went to the trouble of taking pics and everything just to brag

WHY YOU NOT FILL ER UP MAAAATE

    cheers
    regards

    David

that poor log!! the 6x4 trailer makes it look small!!! I dont move my 6x4 till she is bottommed out, generally filled to about the height or higher above the gunwales that that log would be. rated at 750 kgs but I reckon that I would have had at least double that in it. I will take some pics next time I load her up!!
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.

Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.

I told you Carl to blur out your number plate.
Could have done without the fat git in the photo.

    Ha ha - good one
You didn't say that the logs were going to be used as a bonfire and that the best logs there are Flooded Gum (great timber)

Allan - no trouble at all mate - I could cruise up hills that Carl had the whip out on - flogging the poor deo he was. Could hear the motor from three suburbs away.
Weight a bit high and I could feel it but Fine - no drama at all.
