Very handy looking mill and a very good first milling. I can see plenty of milling threads coming up .

DJ, I know I'm biased, but that is a DanG smart thing to think about... if you move on the Lucas, you will regret it...like you said before, there are some logs ideally suited to the WM and there is also some just for the Lucas. do you have a market for feedstock? imagine busting 4x8" (i think you have a model 8 lucas from memory) then slipping them over to the WM to run off the flooring. big chunks are quick as ya like with the Lucas and then much more recovery ripping out floorboards and decking with the WM...win win
Keep up the good work mateI love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
Allan.

Picked up my New Wood Mizer today
We will see Allan, thing is I have access to several mills for the bigger stuff that I can use to break the big stuff down and with the crane truck, bobcat I can pretty much move most stuff.
Anyway some more timber that I milled yesterday.

Also milled some Banksia which was a bit of a loss due to rot but will be some good bits for box making, pens etc and a Sheoak, will take some pics of them tomorrow if I remember to.Cheers

Some very nice colour in those slabs. Anyone know who has a bandsaw mill over here in Perth? Is Nifty still milling anyone know?

I am fairly certain Nifty has given milling away full time to return to his building trade. I can't remember if he sold his mill. When I think about it, Nifty is the best person to help here, if he is watching and not working away .
The chainsaw millers may be able to help otherwise.
