Default WANTED: Pine Logs/Trees for Milling

    Greetings,

I have some building work to do later this year and need some pine logs for milling. Will need approx 75tons. If anyone has a small plantation or some trees that they would like to part with could you let me know.

Will be either happy to pay for logs/trees outright or come to some sort of exchange arrangement.

Happy to travel, any where in in Victoria or Southern NSW is fine.

    Many thanks,

    James - 0430 111 431

after talking to james and being cut short due to the amount of rain and subsequent water damage to the house, just a few more questions.james explained to me that he gets on site, and prefers to cut a semi load of timber.my question is how do you load the truck? 4wd fork lift or do you get a semi with crane?

I usually use a forklift/telehandeler to move the logs about and then to load slings onto a truck. It largely depends on the site - how steep it is and weather or not it's wet and slippery!

    Hi Terry,

Thanks for the offer but Capeen is a bit far away to make things economical. I'm always looking but.

Let me know how you go!

    Cheers,

    James
