Is the pinus pinea a useful timber and is there anywhere in the albany region that would mill it ? thanks

HI Wouldbe nd welcome,
have'nt been here for a few days but it seems like it was too hard for everyone else
I haven't milled it myself although my favorite saying is "there's no such thing as bad timber - just bad places people try to put it"
As for a miller, well you are just around the corner from Lucas HQ at Beechworth, give them a ring on 1800 LUCAS1 or go visit them and buy a bee sting from the backery (my wife still raves about them and the last time she had one was 8 years ago!)) Lucas will be able to put you onto someone close to you who has the gear to do the job.
Hope it helps, good luck with it. Oh and take some picsI love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
Allan.

Sorry mate, I read your location too quickly and thought it was Albury not Albany, which isn't just around the corner, you can still ring Lucas they will let you know someone who is close to you with the gear to do the job
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
