portable saw miller required
Hi,
I live on the Sunshine Coast and have a treed property. Due to the new fire laws for building a house, I had to clear a lot more trees than I originally wanted. The trees have now all been cut and I have been told that a lot would be suitable to be used for my house but the quotes I have been given are quite outrageous.
Does anyone live around my area with a portable mill, who would be willing to have a look and give me some advice and maybe do the job?
Any help and advice would be great.
Cheers Dorothee

gday
pm sent.
the price of cutting your logs should be between 1/2 and 1/3 of teh cost of buying teh same timber, best thing you can do is cut teh highest value stuff first and buy teh low value.
cut big posts, beams, rafters etc before you cut flooring or battens.
