    Default New pottery shed

    G'day all.
I am building a new pottery shed and now need some pine logs to cut into 25mm planks to make vertical boards for the walls. Anyone got any they don't want. I don't need much timber. Any logs for sale near emerald Vic?

Started cutting the first log. I stuffed up and cut a bolt that I put in to hold the ladder. i thought I was clear of them. I thought it must have been a rock. It wasn't it was the screws/bolts I put in myself. I did get practice sharpening the saw 3 times. The planks look good, a bit crooked but fine for a shed. Nice wood. I could make a coffin out of it. I will need one some day.

Bummer. You were lucky you could still sharpen the chain, sometimes it just shreds all the cutters off

Thanks Neil, I get a lot of practice sharpening chains and handsaws. The shed is coming slowly. I may have to sleep in there soon. This is one of the handsaws I used to cut the gable plank for the back of the shed. Surprisingly easy to cut the one inch pine. I had to give the saw a bit more set to get it to work well.

Shed is coming on, nearly all shelves in now. Need lots of shelves in a pottery shed. Cut a dragon out of waist bits of pine. Have to put some more paint on it all now.
