    Default Public liability insurance

    Do any of you felow mobile sawyers have public liability insurance.
    If so what company do you use as i am haveing truble geting anything under $3000 a year.

    You may be better putting it in the hands of a broker. I do mine through an extended farm package. This helps to keep the price more reasonable. Over the years we have had to change insurance companies because of policy changes. The broker is able to identify variances and make adjustments as required. I have found their fees have been well worth the savings.

    hi give fitzpatrick insurance brokers in melbourne a go we used them for over 20 yrs for our tree lopping business

    Hi there.
    I use Elders and it is all part of a farm, house, truck and timber insurance package, but it's not cheap. Not many companies will do it unless they can spread their risk over other items insured.

    +1 here too. Believe it or not Nifty in WA uses em too. Try telling alot of people you are a Sawyer or own a portable sawmilling biz and watch for a response, especially your bank manager
