    Default We love Lucas.

Just quickly, Credit needs to be given where credit is due. I have been pleasantly surrprised by Lucas' service anytime I've had dealings with them. A year after I bought my 827 I got a phone call "just to see if everything was going alright and did I need any advice." I was thinking, "Okay, now comes the sales pitch or up-sell." but nothing, just "Have a nice day and call with any questions." Unaustralian but nice. Good on ya guys. Kel

oh and good onya Travis for being so schmart too!!!
Thanks Al, for the compliment. one thing to clarify however is that they are not really dished what it is is that the centre section of the blade (between the bore and the rim) is stretched so that the rim is pulling tight. Usually these days this can be seen as rings around the blade where they have been rolled between 2 crowned rollers, however in the past and in some instances still to this day it was done by a bloke swinging a hammer with the plate sitting on an anvil. and yes I have done and do still occasionally do this.
