Terrific news, bummer you went through junk to get where you got, but its somethin I've been spruking for years - gotta love Lucas

Continued with blade work yesterday,milling up the remaining 'Spotty' logs.Hoping to change over today ,will take pics of the cutting profile(before and after changing chains) during the course of today...and also,i purchased a file plate from Lucas for doing the rakers accurately..MM

They weren't going to replace or refund the chains because i had used them ,well,that got me started ...then in their wisdom suggested sending the chains back to Oregon for their opinion (more down time)...all they need, is a Lucas chain in stock,and replicate it ...not rocket science ..MM

No mate, it isn't - you'd think if they had any idea they didn't know what they where doing, they would look into it behind closed doors after you've ordered to make sure they gave their customer a decent product... I guess we are spoiled by dealing with Lucas, most others seem incompetent by their standards. I have a crack through one of the mounting arms on my 10 EFI muffler, within 2 minutes on the phone to them - new one is in the post to me...
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

Big thanks to Sigidi for taking time out yesterday to respond to my S.O.S ..you are a gentleman and a scholar .he spent good part of the day fine tuning/problem solving the slabbing set up,and did it all with a good heart too..can't sing your praises highly enough mate,the world would be a better place with more 'Sigidi's in it...thanks again champ...MM

Ahhhhh, mate twas nothin, good sunday drive, make a bit of sawdust, have a bit of a play, meet a forum member and spin some BS all in all a great time, gave me chance to test my can't hook out and realise the side wall on the pipe was too thin, so I won't be stuck with 'testing' it on a job and look like a douchebag when bends in half - cheers
