Default How the big red cedar log cut up.

Will post more photos of the branches drying, but this was how the log processed.
A few nails, it was near a house and the 'bump' turned out benign and instead of rot, is a feature.
Parallel sided slabs, drying to a very dark brown, not red.

Around 20 odd slabs 3.3m long up to 1.1m wide.

When you get a pearler like this one, it makes up for all the time wasters.

    Slabs.

One already sold and others spoken for.
Price will depend on width and quality
Cedar dries quickly, however they wont be ready for use until the end of the year or into next year.
The nails have discoloured a few at one end so that affects the price a bit in some although not the timber usage.
Prices from $300-1000 a slab I guess, some centre ones with splits will need sawing and joining
