    Hey, anyone out there want a silky oak? I have one I need out of my back yard, it's has a circumference of 1.8 meters. I'm on the north side of brisbane

    Ye i would love to pick it up.Is it down?what lengths can you get?
    I am going to be droping of a load on the coast around the 3rd of october may be able to sort someting out.

    No, it's still standing, I need someone to take it down and get rid of it, great timber but doesn't belong in a suburban back yard

    Probably about 4 to 5 M of main trunk before it branches out

    Sometimes the best line of attack is to find a reputable tree lopper to fell the tree for you and then the portable saw millers may be able to assist in disposing of the log. The sawmiller and tree lopper are not often the same person.

    Hope it doesn't have any nails, screws, bolts, spikes wire or other assorted ironmongery embedded in it.

    Sounds like a great bit of timber.
