    Default a few small slabs

    a few slabs we cut out mundy morning friday and this morning. 15 hours all up.

    5 - up to 800mm wide x 6m long black spotty slabs. and one runied 28mm slab

    8 - up to 800mm wide x 5.5m long red spotty slabs

    5 - up to 550mm wide x 5.5m long red spotty slabs (28mm thick) and 3 - 50mm

    9 - up to 1.4m wide x 3.5m long rose gum slabs 3 - 700mm round slabs

    6 - up to 600mm wide 4m long hoop slabs

    6 - up to 600mm wide 3.5m long hoop slabs

    spotty slabs were more than teh 2 of us could carry we lifted one end and shot a peice of pipe in and rolled/slid them off onto the stack althow we managed they were more than 2 blokes should shift.

    thats about 175 square meters of cut.

    1.7m3 of sawdust approx.

    it was suposed to be a 28mm slab. one of the chocks came out from under one of the end frames. making the rails unparallel causing the bar to twist as it cut.
    realized half way took it back and fixed rail and recut to take out the damage.

    Why were the slabs cut so thin? By the time they are dry and finished they will be lucky if they are 20mm thick

    He just wanted to make more sawdust than boards is my take on it....lol
