Solar kiln in the tropics
Bloke down the road was telling me a few years ago about how he was going to be building a solar kiln designed for the tropics
Needless to say it's not up yet!!!!!!!.................. so I thought I'd do a bit of research on the subject.
Trouble is all that comes up on google and elsewhere is kilns in temperate and colder climes.
not too appropriate here.
Winter min 16 max 25 Summer min 22 max 36 av rev humidity 60% and more often 75%plus.
There is a US publication on a kiln they built in Ceylon in the 50's I think that's about it.
Seems to me if you can deal with the relative humidity then the rest should be relativeley simple given the temperatures.
Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas or references they can pass on???

Put "woodweb kiln Brisbane" into google.
Top hit will have more than you can poke a stick at for hotter climates
