all those numbers make my bin explode.

its industry standard to work to 2 decimal places.

a truck load will be rounded down to the next tenth of a cube.

i find it easer to use DxDx.7865xL especialy when using my phone.

if you have an oval log u can use the 2 measurements.

big diamiter x small diamiter x .7865 x l

Those numbers are calculated using a fancy maths software program that can calculate and show things to 999,999 decimal places - but it really pisses me off that it won't do that extra place It also does all manner of algebra, trigonometry and calculus as well. It does not store Pi to any more than 20 places but it can calculate it above that and it takes about 90 seconds to calculate it to 100,000 places.

For logging diameter tapes I just buy a cheap fibreglass tape & paint one side of it white & fine black texta in the diameters marks & Cms up to 2m. all of $10 bucks.

assuming you are 6' tall then you would need to be about 89cm threw before the log that was the size of you was a cube.
