Default tailor/ millhand/ labourer for a day wanted

i need a someone to tail out for me for a day on Sunday and or Monday.

for those who dont know what tailing out is basicly its removing the waste and sawn boards from the log once they'v been milled. its not hard work as half the time you are standing wile the saw is cutting.

obviously there will be payment involved either in kind, cash or timber.

if you wanna see a lucas mill work close up then this is a good chance.

thats allright then. A logger got me in on a job a few weeks ago,he had 2 pine logs he couldn't lift with his machine, from the two logs we retrieved 65 8"x3" sleepers and a heap of 3"x2" and 4"x3" in one day. we started at 8.30 and i was home by 3 o'clock
what made the job go so quick was he was using his bell (3 wheeled forrest machine with log grab) to tail out .great operator as well. it normally would take a day and a half with 2 offsiders to do the same work. the only down side was i had to stick the timber out myself the next day otherwise all good

Hey Carl, how'd ya talier go with the 6x6's and the 6m 4x2's?

Yeah they are small sticks in some respect but still around 50kg and 30kg each respectively, most people can't do this all day. I love milling
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

he went well we moved the mill twice and did 4 hours milling in the day he never faulted. he even said "its a bloody lot easyer than fencing" he has done a few days with us and id have to agree with him.
