    Default Someone to talk to

    My husband is wanting to talk to someone that knows about slabbing with an 880, like what type of chain, and the differences.
    He bought the 880 on friday and ordered a 60inch bar which he will get next week sometime.

    So if anyone can help him out please do.
    If you want he can ring you or I can give you our number.

    My guess is he has ordered the stihl 60" bar. Unfortunately that is a sprocket bar and only fits 404 chain. If he has - see if he can return it and get a GB roller nose bar that can take 404 OR 3/8 chain. The 880 really benefits from running 3/8 chain. Carl can explain it to your husband.

    hes getting a gb bar. running 3/8 chian.
