Timber grading
Hi all, just wondering where to go to get certified for grading hardwood for building.
I've been slabbing and building furniture for a while, but I keep getting asked to supply building material. So if sigidi or weisy can give me a heads up it would be greatly appreciated. I'm on the sunshine coast. TAFE, I assume, but want to get the ball rolling and not have to wait for a course to start in a couple months. A quick read of a PDF and an onsite assessment would be more time efficiant.
A link to said PDF would be helpful too if anyone has one handy. Cheers all. Woodchips'n'sawdust.

Rang Fitec, they just ran a course last month, prob won't do another until New year. $1600 for 2 day course down there or $900 for a 1 day on-site assessment. I've got one other bloke interested in doing the course, if we can get one or two more they'll run another 2 day'er. They also mentioned the cost will be spread (for 1 day, not sure about the 2) so if any one else is interested , drop a line and we should only have to pony up a couple hundred each.
Still chasing a PDF to prep for a one day'er , found one or two I can't access on my phone, have to wait until weekend. Cheers.
