Default when to treat radiata pine ?

my question is for the millers who cut radiata pine for sleepers is when is the best time to treat the sleepers. ie is there a specific moisture content in the sapwood that has a bearing on the timber to soak up the treatment.i cut some fairly large pines from time to time and from what i have seen the heartwood doesn't take the treatment any where as much as the sapwood. that's why they only use small trees in the comercial mills due to the log being all sapwood. being in victoria i can wait a while due to the blue stain not being a great problem. anyway would love to hear your thought on it,regards charlsie

Yes they were to h3, it has to come down to that to reabsorb the treatment under pressure.
